Pulling Together: One team with a shared purpose
On the weekend of the 3rd/4th October the British Rowing conference ‘Pulling together: One team with a shared purpose’ will be taking place at the Queen’s Hotel in Leeds.
The conference will provide an opportunity to hear first-hand about the developments within our sport and understand how we are adapting to meet the needs of our ever-evolving sport.
The 2015-2024 Strategic Plan is key to this and will kick-off our conference which runs form 12 pm on Saturday 3rd until 3:30pm on Sunday 4th, with Andy Parkinson, CEO showcasing the plan to ensure we are all involved in supporting the future success of the sport.
The exciting two-day programme which will be run within a variety of formats will be introduced by Annamarie Phelps, Chairman and these will be covered by a number of keynote speakers (Mark Hunter, Olympic Gold Medalist and Guin Batten, Olympic Silver Medalist among them) and within a panel discussion format with engaging topics such as those outlined below. Beyond the structured talks there will be two informal lunches and an evening reception that will provide great opportunities for networking with colleagues and friends from the wider rowing community.
